Heather commented to me yesterday that life needs road signs. On her trip home from my house, she saw a sign that read "Short Merge Ahead". She thought it was a perfect metaphor what's happening, not only in my life, but across the world. We're in the midst of a short merge, and things are being rearranged to avoid collision keep the flow of traffic and absorb new traffic. So, if Heather's right, all the honking and swerving will be done soon, and I can't wait.
