One foot in front of the other

Have you ever walked somewhere and become so tired that all you could do was keep walking without thinking about doing anything else? You just keep putting one foot in front of the other because stopping gets you nowhere.

Sometimes spiritual learning is exactly like that. The problem is in recognizing what ypu should do with any lesson. Some lessons are about patience and perserverance. These are the ones in which we which have to simply keep going. Other lessons require us to acknowledge that past decisions are hindering us and that we need to change course. For us, the learner, it is frustrating to try to figure out when we should plow on and when we should make a different choice.

Right now, I am pretty sure that I am supposed to keep going, keeping doing what I am. I'm tired, but I can see things coming together. My rule of thumb is to keep going until a change in course becomes obvious. Obviously, this doesn't work everytime, but it provides stability and oppurtunity to think and look for options.

Finding what works for you is a combination of trusting yourself, trusting the Universe and understanding that time is often the answer to all questions.
